Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox lived on a student allowance and took in part-time jobs to increase her budget. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy about her performances as compared to the performance of the other students. Then she began to consider other options. Lennox began her career as musician within the band Dragons Playground. The group broke up prior to their appearance in I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Her main role was as the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she would form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox collaborated on her solo debut album Diva. It was released in 1993. It received lots of praise, both by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album that was released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a collection of four tracks that she improvised for piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let it go... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992 with the album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of songs like The No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with six studio albums solo as well as a compilation. |
